EVENTS & UPDATES
The AYCC’s Pandemic Regulations, effective Monday, May 24, 2021.
Masks will no longer be required by anyone in the facility or on any AYCC properties, with the following exceptions:
Masks are recommended for guests who are not fully vaccinated.
Scanning into the facility will continue to be required, however, capacity limits will return to pre-pandemic levels.
Temperature Readings, Health Screenings and Social Distancing are no longer required.
All of our youth and adult classes will no longer have capacity limits. However, our Lil Dragons classes will continue to have capacity limits like they did before the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have some new and returning classes, such as a “Returning Karate Student Refresher Class). This class is for Yellow Belts and Higher that have not been to the dojo in a long while and would like to return and could use a refresher to help them get back into the swing of things. The fee for this class will be $40.00 for members/$50.00 for non-members.
We also have Capoeira returning this summer on Fridays at 6:30pm.
The fee for that class will be $40.00 for members/$50.00 for non-members.
Also returning this summer are our Tournament Team classes (invitation only) and our Bo classes (Orange Belts and Higher) on Wednesdays. These classes are free to students enrolled in the summer session.
Another big change that will be taking place this summer is a reduction in the number of Zoom classes offered. Due to the lack of enrollment and the increased demand for in-person classes, we will only be offering Zoom classes once per week during our summer session. The fee has been reduced to $40.00 for members/$50.00 for non-members to reflect the reduced number of classes. This summer session will be the final session of Zoom karate classes. Starting this fall we will no longer be offering these classes.
Lastly, we will be returning to offering color belt classes only twice per week. Attached to this email is a copy of the summer session schedule.
Registration for the summer session begins on June 1st.
