Mission Statement of WKS USA​

​The World Karate Society (WKS) USA is dedicated to uniting and advancing the martial arts community across the United States. Our mission is to foster a collaborative environment where practitioners of all styles and disciplines—whether Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Tang-Soo Do, or others—can thrive together.
We are committed to:
  1. Promoting Excellence: Providing platforms for martial artists to showcase their skills, earn recognition through professional certifications, and achieve their highest potential.
  2. Fostering Unity: Creating a supportive network that bridges gaps between various martial arts styles and organizations, free from the constraints of politics and bureaucracy.

Responsibilities of WKS USA Member

  • Adherence to Standards: Uphold the values, ethics, and standards of the WKS USA, including respecting the rules and regulations set forth by the organization.
  • Active Participation: Engage actively in WKS USA events, activities, and initiatives, contributing to the growth and vibrancy of the organization.
  • Promotion of the Organization: Promote the WKS USA within your community and network, encouraging other martial artists and dojos to join and benefit from the association.
  • Collaboration and Support: Foster a spirit of cooperation and mutual support among members, sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices to enhance collective success.
  • Professional Conduct: Represent the WKS USA professionally in all interactions, both within the organization and in external engagements, maintaining the integrity and reputation of the association.
  • Feedback and Communication: Provide constructive feedback and communicate openly with WKS USA leadership, helping to improve and adapt the organization’s programs and initiatives.
  • Contribution to Growth: Support and participate in efforts to grow the WKS USA, including participating in and organizing events, seminars, and tournaments.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Follow all guidelines related to certification, grading, and event participation as outlined by the WKS USA.
  • Respect for Diversity: Embrace and respect the diverse range of martial arts styles and disciplines represented within the WKS USA, promoting inclusivity and unity.
  • Continued Development: Commit to personal and professional development through ongoing training, education, and participation in WKS USA programs.
